Terms of use

What this site is, what you may post here, and the rule we enforce hardest.

Last updated October 26, 2026

Using the site

What worked for us is a directory. It lists products other people have found useful and links out to Amazon, where any purchase happens under Amazon's terms rather than ours. We sell nothing, ship nothing and handle no payments. Using the site means accepting what is on this page.

No medical claims

This is the rule we will enforce hardest, and it applies to us as much as to anyone who writes here later.

No content on this site may claim that a product treats, cures, remediates, reverses or recovers any condition, disability or delay. That covers product descriptions, reviews, submissions, titles, notes and anything else that reaches a page. It applies whether the claim is stated outright or implied.

What you can say is what happened:

  • “This helped my son hold a pencil for longer” is fine. It is your experience, and it is the reason the site exists.
  • “This fixed my son's fine motor delay” is not. It is a claim about an outcome, aimed at parents who would give anything for it to be true.

We moderate for this and will remove or reject anything that crosses the line, without needing to agree with you about whether it worked. Parents in this position are sold hope constantly, by people with far less scruple than you. The site is useless to them if it joins in.

Not medical advice

Nothing here is medical, therapeutic or educational advice, and nothing here replaces your child's doctor, therapist, teacher or care team. No professional relationship exists between you and this site. Decisions about your child are yours and theirs to make.

Safety and accuracy

Product information here is gathered by hand and will contain mistakes. Age ranges in particular are our own estimates, and the upper limits were inferred rather than taken from the manufacturer. Safety notes are short reminders and not a complete assessment. Many of these products contain small parts, magnets, cords or batteries.

Check the current listing, the manufacturer's guidance and your own knowledge of your child before buying, and supervise accordingly. We give no warranty that anything listed is suitable, available, safe for your child, or priced as you might expect, and we are not liable for what a product does once it reaches your house.

What you may post, once posting exists

Submissions and reviews are not open yet. When they are, these rules apply from the first day, and everything written will stay unpublished until a moderator approves it.

  • No medical claims, as above.
  • No child's name, no birthday, no photograph, no school, nothing that would let a stranger identify the child you are describing. Age as a band, as everywhere else on the site.
  • Write about your own experience rather than about someone else's child.
  • No advertising, no referral or affiliate links of your own, no reviews in exchange for free products. We rebuild every Amazon link ourselves from the product identifier, so attempts to smuggle a tag in will simply not work.
  • No abuse, harassment or content that targets a person.
  • Nothing illegal, and nothing you don't have the right to post.

You keep ownership of what you write, and you give us permission to display it on the site. We may edit lightly for clarity, reject anything for any reason, and remove anything later.

Amazon

Amazon product links on this site are affiliate links or will become them. The affiliate disclosure explains where that stands today. Availability, price, delivery, returns and the accuracy of a listing are entirely matters between you and Amazon.

Changes

These terms will change as the site grows, and the date at the top of this page will change with them. Material changes, especially anything affecting what happens to what you write, will be described rather than slipped in.
